The public is invited to our last-of-the-year monthly meeting and Community Forum of the Naperville Township Democratic Organization to be held at 7:30 PM on Thursday, October 24^th at the City of Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle Street, in Meeting Rooms B & C on the lower level.  Following a short business meeting, we will hear from Wheaton resident, James Vroman, on the controversial topic of hydraulic fracturing or fracking, the process whereby shale oil and natural gas are released from deep inside the earth.  Governor Pat Quinn says that the new law recently passed in Illinois, “enacts the nation’s strongest environmental protections…potential to create thousands of jobs…”.  Come to learn more from an expert!
