DESCRIPTION:Learn why the League supports the Fair Tax amendment\, what it will mean to you\, and why to vote yes!\nMost states already use the Fair Tax system and in Illinois 97% of the population will get a tax cut or pay no more than they pay today.\n\n\nThis amendment gives us the opportunity to vote that the state constitution should be amended to remove the requirement that income shall be taxed at a flat\, non-graduated rate. This change would permit income to be taxed at different rates\, with higher income taxed at a higher rate\, and lower income taxed at a lower rate\, as in the federal income tax system.\nThis amendment will ease the pressure on property taxes while protecting services.\n\n\nThe event is free\, but registration is required.\nRegister here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_vmuOx85PQ4O0xJGZ6tEKWA

DESCRIPTION:“Out of an abundance of caution for the health of our community\, the City of Naperville is canceling the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and 5K run scheduled for this Saturday\, March 14.
