Gautam Bhatia – Chair

Gautam Bhatia

Gautam ‘GB’ Bhatia has been involved with NTD since 2018 as a Precinct Committeeman.  GB has been involved in many community organizations most notably as Chair of the City of Aurora’s Indian American Community Outreach Advisory Board from 2015-2019.  GB has worked extensively with city employees, elected officials & partnered with many volunteer groups & businesses to plan community events focused on Youth Mental Health, Diversity Awareness & Civic Engagement.  GB has experience in fund raising, team development & leading/motivating volunteers.  GB has a BA in Computer Science, Math & Physics and an MBA in MIS & Operations and works as a Cyber Security Sales Professional.  GB has been a resident of Aurora since 2008 with his wife, son & daughter.  In GB’s words:

Tim Skirvin – Vice Chair

Tim Skirvin

Tim Skirvin has been involved with the Naperville Democrats since 2017.  He is in charge of the Data Management Committee, builds election walklists, and helps with the web site and the social media tools.

Tim works as a programmer in scientific computing and system automation.  He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1999.  Tim lives in Naperville with his wife and son. His interests include board games, photography, anti-racism, and (unsurprisingly) politics.

Loretta Burke – Precinct Director

Loretta Burke

Chicago native, Loretta Burke, has lived in Aurora for more than 15 years, and in 2000 became a member of the Naperville Township Democratic Organization. Since then, Loretta has been elected to serve as a Trustee on the Naperville Township Board in 2017. She has also been elected as the Democratic Precinct Committeeman for Precinct 68, and has worked as a Precinct Coordinator to recruit and train new Democratic precinct committeepersons. Over the years, Loretta has lent her support to many local, state and national Democratic campaigns. A proud union member of the Illinois Education Association, Loretta served as a delegate to the 2016 National Education Association’s Representative Assembly in Washington, D.C. Loretta earned a B.S. degree in Business Education from DePaul University, Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science and Educational Administration Certification from Dominican University. She has also served as a Board member for the Diamond Bay Homeowners’ Association in Aurora. Loretta brings over 30 years of experience in the business, legal and educational communities in Chicago and Western Suburbs.
