Steve: A few billionaires are trying to buy their way into Illinois politics.<\/p>\n

Ken Griffin, a hedge fund mogul and the richest man in our state, just donated a record-breaking $2.5 million to my Republican opponent Bruce Rauner.<\/p>\n

I worked hard to pass historic campaign contribution limits in Illinois to avoid this exact kind of abuse of our democracy, but Bruce Rauner has broken those limits wide open.<\/p>\n

Illinois is not for sale — and we need to make that clear.<\/p>\n

My opponent has a check for $2.5 million from one person. I have thousands of supporters like you.<\/p>\n
