L-to-R: Steve Bosco (2013), Carole Kerr (2014), Dianne McGuire (NTDO Chair), Ed Agustin (2012)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>And, finally, our <strong>third annual PC of the Year Award<\/strong> went to Precinct 13 Committeewoman, <strong>Carole Kerr<\/strong>!\u00a0In addition to covering her own precinct responsibilities, she took on, with enthusiasm and no previous\u00a0experience, the Chairmanship of Regina Brent\u2019s campaign for the County Board 5 seat. Having been a\u00a0candidate myself on 3 occasions, I have some idea of the scope and complexity of orchestrating such an\u00a0effort. She did it all and then some:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Put together a cohesive team effort<\/li>\n<li>Personally scheduled and accompanied Regina to various events<\/li>\n<li>Waged a fierce sign placement effort<\/li>\n<li>Created a \u201cbidding\u201d competition at Regina\u2019s fundraiser<\/li>\n<li>Worked on messaging, questionnaires, interviews<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You get the idea, I am sure\u2026her persistence, energy, creativity, sincerity, and organizational skills\u00a0allowed for an amazing campaign for a most worthy candidate!<\/p>\n<p>In closing, I would like to recognize those who are serving with me as <strong>officers of the NTDO<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Paul Mandrik<\/strong>\u2026\u2026..Precinct Director<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deanne Sereno<\/strong>\u2026..Treasurer<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bob Fine<\/strong>\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026..Vice Chair<\/li>\n<li><strong>Steve Purduski<\/strong>\u2026..Secretary<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rose Johnson<\/strong>\u2026\u2026.Precinct Support Specialist (appointed)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each of these dedicated members of the NTDO goes above and beyond nearly every day in serving the\u00a0interests of the organization. Two of them have even stepped forward to be on the front lines for the\u00a0<strong>consolidated election on April 7th<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Steve Purduski<\/strong>\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026Naperville City Council<\/li>\n<li><strong>Paul Mandrik<\/strong>\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.Aurora City Council, Ward 8<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>No doubt we will be hearing from other candidates who will also be seeking our support.
