Perhaps we should have paid more attention to the fact that Rubio’s campaign page<\/a> advertising the “#NeverTrump” bumper sticker used the word removable. Twice.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\n\nMarco Rubio Goes From #NeverTrump to Ready for Trump<\/a><\/h3>\n
For a brief period of time, \u201c#NeverTrump\u201d was practically Marco Rubio\u2019s presidential-campaign slogan. Rubio made slashing attacks on Trump as a \u201ccon artist.\u201d Rubio\u2019s campaign website sold anti-Trump swag, like a \u201c#Never Trump\u201d bumper sticker<\/a>. \u201c#NeverTrump,\u201d of course, the hashtag slogan of a movement of Republicans who have vowed to withhold their support from Trump even if he wins the party nomination (which is the straightforward and, in fact, only understood meaning of the word\u00a0never<\/em>). But last month, Rubio conceded<\/a> that \u201c#NeverTrump\u201d merely meant that he wouldn\u2019t vote for Trump in the Republican primary. And now,appearing on Univision<\/a>, Rubio sounds ready to rally around Trump:<\/p>\n
\u201cLook, let\u2019s not divide the party. You have someone here who has all these votes, very close to get 1,237, let\u2019s not ignore the will of the people or they\u2019re going to be angry. Delegates may decide on that reason that they decide to vote for Donald Trump, but if they don\u2019t it\u2019s not illegitimate in any way,\u201d he told Miami radio host Jimmy Cefalo.<\/p>\n
