You are invited to attend the next Community Forum for the Naperville Township Democratic\u00a0Organization at 7:00 PM at the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle Street in meeting rooms B & C. \u00a0(NOTE: Due to our full agenda, we will start half an hour earlier this month: 7:00 instead of 7:30.<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

In addition to hearing from candidates who will be on the ballot for the April 7th Consolidated Election,\u00a0we will honor Black History Month<\/strong> by featuring Ron Allen<\/strong>, Naperville author and elected Democratic\u00a0Precinct 37 Committeeman, who will discuss his new book, The Evolution of Bid Whist<\/em><\/strong>. We will learn of\u00a0the impact of the Pullman Porters on the dissemination of this game, as well as the influential role they\u00a0played within the African American community at that time.<\/p>\n

Following this presentation, we will feature\u00a0a panel of distinguished Democratic campaign advisors who will discuss the impact and effectiveness of\u00a0various strategies<\/strong> implemented in the November, 2014 election. The panelists include the following\u00a0individuals: Greg Bales<\/strong> (Suburban Outreach Coordinator, Senator Durbin); Allison Schraub<\/strong> (Regional\u00a0Field Director,Senator Durbin); Martha Lein<\/strong>, (Director,DuPage Victory PAC); Zach Koutsky<\/strong>\u00a0(Campaign\u00a0Manager, State Treasurer Michael Ferichs) and Ben Huntley<\/strong> (Political Director, Congressman Bill Foster). \u00a0NTDO Precinct Committeemen will be encouraged to analyze their own efforts and to bring the data to\u00a0share.<\/p>\n
