We’ve got ourselves a critical election season, and many strong local Democratic candidates to support. We need new voices, like\u00a0Laura Ellman for State Senate District 21<\/a>, to rebuild integrity, accountability, and solutions-driven policy in our\u00a0state assembly and move Illinois forward.The best way to get involved and built momentum is to is by talking to voters face-to-face in your neighborhoods! There are a couple opportunities to help below.<\/div>\n

1) Join our Weekend Canvass Team!<\/b><\/a><\/div>\n
Laura has been hard at work talking to voters about the issues we all care about, and\u00a0we are looking for volunteers to have conversations with voters about the issues we all care about. We are canvassing\u00a0THIS WEEKEND<\/a>\u00a0with Laura and Val Montgomery, running for State House District 41!\u00a0No experience necessary – we’ll provide training, materials and a walk buddy. This is the best way to make the biggest impact.<\/div>\n

We’ll be canvassing on Saturday 10AM-12PM, 12:30-3:30PM, and 4-7PM, and on\u00a0Sunday 1:30-4:30PM.<\/b><\/div>\n
We will meet at the Starbucks at\u00a01979 McDowell Rd #113, Naperville, IL 60563<\/a><\/div>\n

2) Host a “coffee” or house party!\u00a0<\/b>Laura loves getting the chance to meet people and have more in-depth conversations. 3) Write a letter to the editor<\/b>\u00a0responding to a current event in a local paper highlighting your support for Laura.
