We rally to support immigrant communities within the City of Aurora and to publicly advocate in support of the ACLU’s Freedom City Campaign and the adoption of it’s model local law enforcement policies. |

Why: |
We are raising our voices to make it clear that we have our arms wide open. We support immigrants and refugees as important and welcomed neighbors within Aurora’s vibrant and diverse community. We ask that the city of Aurora adopt laws and specify a code of conduct for our local law enforcement declaring, openly and as a matter of policy, that the mission of Aurora law enforcement agencies is effective community policing, and not as enforcers of unconstitutional Federal overreach nor the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency. |
