The public is invited to the next Community Forum of the Naperville Township Democratic Organization, to be held at 7:30 PM on Thursday, June 27th at the City of Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle Street, in Meeting Rooms B & C on the lower level.

Our program for this meeting will be presented by Kuldeep Sra, a retired machinist from Fermi Lab, who, along with his son, Randeep Sra, a student at NIU, will present information regarding Dheean Pukardian, Inc., a public charity he has founded whose name, when translated to English, means “the outcry of the daughters for help.”

Kuldeep will describe his efforts to empower young girls in India by funding their education to enable them to resist cultural pressures for sex selective abortions.  Gender imbalance is extreme in northern India, with only 855 females for every 1000 males.  Visual information will also be presented.
