DuPage Township Democratic Organization – PARADE
EVERYONE IS FIRED UP AND READY TO MARCH!
BOLINGBROOK’S PATHWAYS PARADE – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8
Let’s show Bolingbrook the fighting spirit of the DuPage Township Democrats during the village’s 48th annual Pathways Parade. The parade is this Sunday, September 8, and its theme is Rockin & Rollin in Bolingbrook.
Since the parade steps off at 2 pm, our marchers will need to line up between 1 and 2 pm at Bolingbrook High School, 365 Raider Way. Please arrive at the high school parking lot using the Schmidt Road entrance (just east of Raider Way). The Schmidt Road entrance will be one way on parade day and close at 1:30 pm.
Our parade number is 66 in the pink line section. The parade’s website — http://www.bolingbrookparade.org — provides diagrams of the high school parking lot, parade line up and parade route.
If you’re unable to march in the parade, you may ride in a Democratic parade car. Please RSVP to Jim Kadlec (630-983-1772) for a ride.
By our parade numbers and enthusiasm, Bolingbrook’s residents, including the village’s elected officials, will know that their Democratic Party is rockin and rollin!
Parking Suggestion — Because of limited parking at the high school, drivers may choose to meet at the Village Hall / Town Center parking lot, 375 Briarcliff Road, and then carpool to the high school. At the parade’s conclusion, those whose cars are parked at the Village Hall / Town Center are asked to offer to drive the carpool drivers to their cars.
