Come join us for the first organizational meeting of 2014 as we prepare for the political year ahead of us.   We share important news, discuss upcoming events, hear from our elected officials, and as always, present an engaging speaker on a relevant and interesting topic.  Water and light snacks provided.

This month, we will hear from Steve Macek, Associate Professor of Speech Communication, and Program Coordinator, Urban and Suburban Studies, at North Central College.  Steve will be speaking on, “ALEC, Big Business and the Attack on the Working Class.”

In addition, we will also hear briefly from Peter Starzynski, representing A Better Illinois, which is promoting the Fair Tax Amendment to the Illinois State Constitution.
