The freedom fund gala is the signature fundraising event for the DuPage NAACP branch and ultimately generates financial resources to help them carry out their programs. Their approximately 500 attendees for the gala will be treated to an enjoyable evening that will feature a different schedule than previous years. Anticipated changes include:
The awards presentation will be moved from the main gala event to a pre-gala ceremony from 5-6 pm. This will ensure that the actual dinner portion of the program is not too lengthy.
The reception with music will continue from 6-7pm. This is arrival time for most guests not attending the pre-gala awards presentation.
Dinner will begin at 7pm and include the traditional keynote speaker, scholarship presentation along with extended exciting entertainment.

These changes will help them with their goal of improving the experience for their membership base and event attendees.

We welcome our members and the friends of the NTDO to join them, contribute and celebrate the wonderful work they are doing here in the counties of DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will counties. We look forward to seeing you at the gala!
