There are four candidate running for mayor in Aurora.

• Linda Chapa LaVia

• Rick Guzman

• Richard Irvin

• Mike Saville

A special primary will be held on February 28th. From these four candidates, the two with the most votes will advance to the Consolidated election on April 4. The winner of this election will be the next mayor of Aurora.

On Monday, February 6, a forum will be held at the Eola Community Center. Come out and hear each candidate talk about his/her campaign to be mayor.

This forum starts at 7 p.m. but people can meet with candidates beforehand at 6:30.  The candidates also will be available to meet with people after the forum.
