From the DuPage NAACP:

The freedom fund gala is the signature fundraising event for our branch and ultimately generates financial resources to carry out our programs for the year.  As with last year, our format will remain the same:

• The awards presentation will be moved from the main gala event to a pre-gala ceremony from 5-6 pm.
• The reception with music will continue from 6-7pm. This is arrival time for most guests not attending the pre-gala awards presentation.
• Dinner will begin at 7pm and will include the scholarship presentation along with exciting entertainment.
• New this year – thanks to the contributions of our community partners, members and supporter, we will have a silent auction!

These changes will help us with our goal of  improving the experience for our membership base and event attendees.

We welcome you to join us to contribute and celebrate the wonderful work being done here in the counties of DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will counties. We look forward to seeing you at the gala!
