Jeff Szymczak is one of our NTDO PCs, and also the principal/superintendent for Mooseheart, a “residential childcare facility” in Mooseheart, Illinois, which is between North Aurora and Batavia.  “The Child City is a home for children and teens in need, from infancy through high school.”

Mooseheart’s Holiday Lights show opened the Friday after Thanksgiving and runs through December 31.

“This event is not just geared toward children,” Mooseheart Executive Director Gary Urwiler said. “We say it’s for families, but that can mean grandparents and grandchildren, or parents with young children, or nieces and nephews and friends. It’s truly a family event.”
