Dear Steve,

As the son of two moms, I know we have a lot to celebrate during Pride Month in Illinois. Marriage equality finally became the law of the land on June 1st, which means that soon, I’ll gather with my parents as they end their 44 year “engagement” and finally get married.

As Campaign Manager to Mike Frerichs, who was just one of two Downstate Senators to co-sponsor marriage equality, I wanted to personally invite you to join us and march in this year’s Chicago PRIDE Parade.
