Event Agenda:
10:30 am – 12:00 pm Central Park 600 S. Main St. Wheaton, *NE corner of Main St. and Roosevelt (new park at bottom of hill next to Mariano’s – parking available on West side of Main or in the store parking lot) 
This will be the Main Event! We will hold a protest in honor of the 23 million American’s (1 million Illinoisians) that Peter Roskam voted to throw off of healthcare protection along with the millions more with pre-existing conditions. We will also protest the closed door methods of the Senate Republicans. 
10:30 – 11:00 am – Gather and voter registration for DuPage County residents will be available. Bring state issued photo id and proof of residency. Write down your healthcare story and meet others. 
11:00 Mobile Billboard arrives, program and speakers begin!
11:45 Group photo with the Mobile Billboard.  Head out on the road to tailgate!

Signs to Bring – Choose your message and/or use “Protect Our Care”, “Repeal Replace Roskam 2018”, “Protect Illinois Families,” or “Fierce in our Compassion”. Make them big so cars driving by can read them, (please be mindful of our non-violent philosophy and aim high with messaging). Our focus will also be on the benefits of ACA and our many pre-existing conditions. Your signs can speak to that as well. Bring American flags too – we are doing this FOR a better America! 
What to wear – Pink for Planned Parenthood, your Handmaid’s Tale costume, your latest online protest t-shirt purchase…
How to Prep – There will be media there. You may get asked a question or two. Think about what clear and short message you’d like to share. Why are YOU there?  Why do YOU resist? Share this event on social media and hand this flyer out to friends and neighbors. Get ready to meet some awesome people!
We will have a few speakers and would like to share your stories as well.  At the close we will take a group picture with the Mobile Billboard and then those people who can follow the Mobile Billboard to the next location in their vehicles, can “tailgate” over there together. 
*If you are able to “tailgate”, please decorate your cars and windows ahead of time with messages, flags, etc. We will travel (respectfully and carefully) with the truck hosting the mobile billboard. 

12:45 – 1:15 pm Roskam’s Barrington Office, 200 South Hough St. Barrington, IL 60010 
If you were unable to join us earlier, this will be another great chance to protest with signs, flags, chanting, etc.  Again, there will be media presence, so please plan ahead. Bring signs with big print, flags and other items you feel would spread our message and gain attention. 

The Mobile Billboard will make its final leg of a four day journey to Federal Plaza, S. Dearborn St, Chicago, IL 60604, arriving at approximately 2:45 pm and ending at 4:15 pm.
