WHY WE NEED YOUR WHOLE-HEARTED SUPPORT in 2014:
Laurie is one of the hardest-working elected officials in DuPage, choosing to be a Full Time Board Member who puts the Community first. She works tirelessly on progressive environmental initiatives, is an outspoken advocate for government ethics, and uses compassion and factual information to fight the heroin epidemic. She is also the ONLY Democrat on the DuPage County Board up for re-election this year. There’s already a militant tea-partier and a “who’s who” corporate lobbyist gearing up to try to take her seat and return DuPage back to the regressive, entitled, hands-off status quo. . .
. . .So if you’re a Democrat in DuPage, we need YOU and YOUR support every step of the way until victory day!
Gear up to be part of the solution, and make it YOUR Vow to tell the DuPage GOP, “Sorry, but this seat’s taken!”
DIRECTION CLARIFICATION!: Tomlinson Home is at the intersection of McCormick & Taylor, 1/2 mile south of Roosevelt Rd and 1/4 mile west of Route 53.
Going south on 53 from Roosevelt go through the traffic light at Sheehan and turn right at the next block which is McCormick (not well marked).
Going north on 53 from Butterfield turn left at the light at 22nd street/Buckingham, drive ¼ mile to Taylor and turn right. Taylor winds through 2 stop signs before ending at the intersection with McCormick.
