Who We Are

The Naperville Township Democrats are the official Democratic organization serving the township of Naperville in DuPage County. Our township includes parts of Aurora, Naperville, and Warrenville, and we are committed to building a stronger, fairer, and more inclusive community.

We support Democratic candidates and elected officials at every level of government:

  • City
  • Township
  • County
  • School Board
  • State Legislature
  • Federal Offices (Congress, Senate, President)
  • Precinct Committeeperson

What We Do

We are more than a political organization—we are neighbors working together to make our community stronger. Our work includes:

  • Monthly Meetings – held at the Naperville Municipal Center or virtually, featuring guest speakers, issue briefings, and campaign updates.

  • Community Engagement – marching in parades, hosting community events, and supporting local initiatives.

  • Voter Outreach – delivering election kits, providing voting information, and helping neighbors make their voices heard.

  • Campaign Support – knocking on doors, phone banking, and volunteering for Democratic candidates.

  • Collaboration – partnering with county and state Democratic organizations to build a unified movement.

Our Vision

We believe in Democratic values of fairness, justice, equality, and opportunity. Together, we work to ensure that every voice in our community is heard and represented—whether at the city council, in Springfield, or in Washington, D.C.

If you share our values, we invite you to join us, get involved, and make a difference right here in Naperville Township.

History

The Democratic Party in Naperville traces its roots straight back to Joseph Naper, the Founding Father of Naperville, and Naperville Township Democrats continue his tradition of caring about the concerns of Naperville, Aurora, and Warrenville, portions of which all lie within the boundaries of Naperville Township in DuPage County, Illinois.

For many years this Township was considered a Republican stronghold.  Recent elections have changed this; we have endorsed and helped elect candidates into offices such as the Township Supervisor, DuPage County Clerk, County Board, Judge positions, and all of our nearby Congressional seats.  At this point, DuPage has been turned Blue; we want to keep it that way, and make it even Bluer.
